Pamela Fadden

Jefferson Township, Town Council

Pamela Fadden is running for Town Council in Jefferson Township. She is a high school mathematics teacher, a mother of two, and a 17-year Jefferson resident. She is running for town council because she believes it's time to put more value in fiscal and environmental responsibility with an eye toward our children, our businesses, and our town's recreational appeal.

She is a firm supporter of Jefferson Township’s recreational activities. She and her husband have been volunteer coaches and she has also volunteered to teach Sunday school and to help the Milton United Methodist Church (MUMC) Food Pantry. She views this as a great way to keep our kids active because it is a positive factor in many teens’ lives. Teen Scene is another such vital program for our younger teens. Pamela believes we need to continue and expand these programs, as the money we put into our youth now will reap benefits in the future.

Pamela supports creating a vibrant downtown. She also believes in being environmentally conscious– as much as we need to protect and provide for our children, we need to protect and provide for our planet and we need to start right here at home.

As a union leader that supports public schools, educators and students, she became more involved in legislative actions that impacted the livelihood of educators and students’ wellbeing. She wants to add an educator’s voice to the Jefferson Township council.  Through her experience, she has learned that it’s not good enough to talk about change and new ideas - instead you have to be involved, whether it’s small input or large to make a difference.
